I have a radioshack 15-2116 universal remote Im trying to program in my vizeio VF550M tv , and my samsung BD-P1590 blueray player. Both of these devices are much newer then the outdated remote so here is no codes listed for them. Im trying to use ir learn so the universal remote can learn the commands from the original remotes which works with most keys but im locked out of some of them like power for example. Does anyone know if there is a device code i can enter that will give me a blank template so i can have access to reprogram all the keys by ir learn or any other suggestions other then getting a new remote. I really like this remote and everyone els in my house hates it and wont touch it so I always know where this one is.

I have this remote, its JP1 compatible, and I have been wanting to do a segment on it. Ive got the hardware footage done, but lost the screencaps in a HDD crash.
