Mustang, myself, and a few others are thinking about a BSoD weekend camping trip out in PA. We have a few fans and friends in the area, so we figured why the hell not. We dont know when or where, once we get a headcount and rough location of where everyone is, then we can decide on WTF is going on. Im thinking about sometime around spring break. The weather is a little warmer so we wont freeze out asses off, we can hit the local' swimmin' hole, and people will have off of work and school.

I'm definitely interested and I'll definitely be a lot of help to you. I have a lot of wilderness survival and camping experience due to the intense amount of hiking and camping my family used to do. I don't think I'll be fully prepared for this one because over the years, we've lost our camping stuff. I don't feel like rebuying all the stuff again but I'm pretty sure I'll make do. Let me know how this turns out.....PA is a really good place for camping. Just be sure there aren't any bears in the area.....TRUST ME.....you DO NOT wanna know about that!!

Reaper, im not taking responsibility for you, especially in the middle of the woods. if your parents are ok with you going on an out of state camping trip with weird guys you met on the internet... some of which are highly unstable and shouldnt be near flammable liquids or small animals... by all means come join!

Pyro, we have NO idea where we are doing this yet, we need to wait until much warmer weather first of all, and see who is actually coming. Like i said, im shooting for a spring break thing if possible.

OK that sounds good to me. As I mentioned, I live in Pittsburgh. I go camping a lot all year round, especially in the winter. Spring is a good time to because you dont freeze your ass off. I know where are the good spots are and I even own a pimp ass log cabin in Tionesta, PA which is right outside of Oil City, PA. Outside I have 7 acres including a 10 square foot fire pit. Inside it is layed out and it has 4 full bedrooms, each including their own bathroom. There is also an extra room with 2 bunk beds, which means 4 extra beds. Then there is the computer room with the 60 inch plasma and so on and so on. With all the electronics I call any trip that I make there "cyber camping", but its definitely worth the stay there. I have a satellite tv and internet so it always feels like home. I also have enough guns to start a war. We can camp out, hunt, get drunk, eat vicodin and percocets until we vomit, mess around on the internet. I also have a couple dirt bikes and I still have enough fireworks and black powder left over from the 4th of July this year to the entire state of Rhode Island(in no way, shape or form do I plan on doing that, EVER). If this sounds like fun, let me know. Then again, we dont even know each other so if you are up to it we can bullshit some time. Let me know.

Lol. When I was typing this reply using Firefox, I love how the automatic spell check doesnt recognize the State of "Rhode Island" as a word spelled correctly but it accepts the word "bullshit" like there was no problem.

Lets see who else is going. It seems we have a bunch of IL people coming, Dave is really looking for this, and i was just talking to AceMon who might bring some friends as well. Im hoping dave can kidnap some of the techcentric crew as well. If there are any more PA bound people we can till do a PA trip, but if its not as many we may change the location to upstate NY or something, that way the IL people dont have such a massive trip.

Yeah I should be able to go as i already have everything I'll need exept gas money but thats easy to get as I have all winter. I'll keep everyone posted on how things are going.

I'll be flying into Newark Liberty International Airport from London Gatwick as it's the cheapest place to fly into most likely, I'll make a holiday of it.

Believe me when I say that I can handle myself in the woods....even if I was going to be by myself. The bear thing is no joke either. Believe me when I say this, I did handle a bear attack on my campsite and my tent by myself. I'm pretty sure a bunch of guys should be no problem. Therefore, responsibility for me is not necessary. Weird guys in the woods is nothing compared to weird parents. They are good parents, but they're not normal. Don't consider me fully in on this yet until I see how things are going to run. After all, I'm still 16 and the oldest of 3 so precautions still have to be taken.

Maybe we could play some paintball or airsoft

not everyone has the gear for it. If i bring my BB Gun and i shoot you, do yourself a favor, play dead and stay down... you dont want to be shot with it more than once.

Havent been on in a good week. Work has been dreadful but fun. Yea if we get a lot of people from NY/PA we can definitely use my place as our "cyber resort" lol. If people are a little bit out of the way there are always cheap airlines that fly to PA for dirt cheap. Ill be in touch. Like I said, Ill supply the drugs, alcohol, electricity, guns and ammo and internet and so on. Just a lil help with food is all i need. There are tons of great roadside diners and pizza shops around my cabin but keep in mind that not only do I have my bachelors in network admin, I also have a degree in culinary arts and yes, I do cook better than you grandmother. lmao. We might change locations to NJ possibly upstate NY. It seems we are having a good size group from up north coming, and even UK. Pyr0, i dont know how may people are convinced you will be providing a safe place with your comments of drugs alcohol and ammo. Dont expect people to be all too willing to crash there. Your offer is noble, but the idea of crashing at some guys cabin in the middle of the woods that you have never met and barely spoke to on the internet makes some people uncomfortable.

How important is internet access to the rest of the group? I think I may want it for shit like slashdot and IRC.

internet access isnt important to me . Im there to hang out in the woods and meat up with people ive been chatting with online. I can stay home in my warm house sitting on chairs instead of rocks if i wanted to irc. Im sure we will have plenty to do. Im bringing my compound bow and possibly my daughters Ill probly have my bb gun foxx will most likely have his. Im sure one of us will bring some cards im up for a good game of uno around the camp fire. Im sure some people will be bringing plenty to drink. No drugs. You fuckers get us kicked out of the campground use your immagination. We are not baby sitters. We are going to have fun Think before you drink. If your are one of them people that get vilent when you drink and all you want to do is fight dont drink. Most campgrounds have a no drinking polocy anyway so if you do drink dont cause a scene for them to know about it .

Please if you are going try to give us a defenate answer as soon as possibly. alout of people are flying in or car pulling so You all arent going to be able to bring that much supplys. Id like to know how many people are going so I can plan. I have a few extra tents but i dont have any extra air beds so you fuckers are stuck sleeping on the hard ground or in the back of my cherokee

If you have a fishing or hunting lisence look into getting a tempary nj lisence usually if you have a lisence in another state they give you a vacation lisence in nj for a discount. Ill try and get all my fishing rods in working order alout of them were stolen and i might need to replace so let me know if you are intrested in fishing.


We are thinking about camping at parvin state park http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/parvin.html Foxx and I camped there last year its a nice park and its not that far from where I live and will make it alout easier on me since ill probly be bringing most of the supplys and dilivering most of the people. Im thinking about getting the camp site one day extra and going down the day before everyone els so i can get the site set up.

So any input would that campground be cool for everyone If we get of of the group sites in the back we get a private bathroom and there is a pivilin there with tons of tables so if it starts to rain or anything we can all go in there and chill and not be stick in our tents

Campground looks nice, I have my own tent and air mattress. I will need to fly in, as many others will. We may want to coordinate these flights so we don't have to pay for 50 shuttles. Mustang can you pick us up at the airport?

I am thinking of leaving the laptops at home. I will bring some card games like Fluxx, Zombie Fluxx, Chrononauts, and Aquarius. I may also be picking up Munchkin and Illuminati decks. I have us covered when it comes to card games.
